Daniel is a veteran singer/songwriter, visual artist, published columnist, former radio show host, Shakespearean-trained actor, and a traditionally trained Chen Tai Chi/Buddhist meditation instructor.
The Montreal native has played with various bands, performing in Montreal, Toronto and Europe. His time as the front man of indie quartet Ecclestone had him opening for classic rock bands such as Nazareth, YES, Mike Tramp (White Lion) & April Wine.
Their last album, Datamantra, is still available at iTunes, Amazon and other platforms.
In 2003, Daniel was signed as a solo artist to an independent record deal that despite three years of hard work, produced no fruit. In 2006, he formed the Daniel Iorio Group. The band released the self-produced effort Hike in 2008. The album was a digital-only release, and is available at iTunes, Amazon etc.
Below you can listen to some of Daniel's home, pre-production demos, which are often recorded with nothing more than a second-hand computer mic, acoustic guitar and various loops. Some studio tracks are also featured.
